Sector Layout

Sector Total Length (beam trajectory) = 11 m. Ring Length (beam trajectory)= 66 m.
Remark: Quads Q3 are hybrid elements: they include independent octupole coils.

Requirements:
  • Sampling (multiturn reading)
  • Minimum operation current = 0.1 mA
  • Max operation current = 200 mA
  • Noise and stability (rms) < 3 microns

Alignment Tolerances = ± 150 microns (total), for all the Ring Elements.

The whole sector will be on a single girder with pre-aligned magnets. Girder alignment will be with six struts.
