Pressure requirement: 1 nTorr with 200 mA beam current.

60 % of the synchrotron radiation (SR) in the bend is absorbed by the water cooled metallic mirror M1 (red in the picture).

We fabricated a test chamber (pictured below) for RF testing purposes and so far there are no trapped modes to worry about with this unconventional vacuum chamber design.
